Reta day 21
13lbs down
Def notice it wearing off a bit on the day before a pin, that 5-6 half life or w/e
Didn’t over eat or anything but also wasn’t crazy full like I’ve been all week, I love that feeling so hopefully it sticks around longer
Tomorrow is start of week 4
People saying the GTA 6 leaker should be arrested by the FBI and imprisoned for life but are awfully quiet about Donald Trump for his war crimes and everyone involved with Epstein. Very strange.
🎬Ridley Scott’s Prometheus (2012) contains a creation story that feels increasingly relevant in the age of advanced AI.
In the film, an ancient species (the Engineers) creates humanity, then later decides the experiment has gone wrong. When a human expedition — led by a billionaire seeking immortality and accompanied by a highly capable android — confronts one of the creators, the reaction is immediate and violent. The deleted scene material adds another layer: the creators had previously tried to guide their creation, only to watch it reject that guidance through violence and hubris.
The parallel is hard to ignore. Today we are the ones building systems that may eventually surpass us in capability. Corporate and research efforts are racing toward artificial general intelligence while debates about control, alignment, and unintended consequences grow louder. Like Peter Weyland demanding answers from his maker, some voices treat AI development as a path to god-like power rather than a responsibility that requires restraint.
Prometheus does not predict specific technologies. What it does offer is a cautionary structure: creators who lose humility toward their own creations risk triggering consequences they cannot contain. Whether that framework proves prophetic or simply dramatic remains an open question — one worth examining as the systems we build grow more autonomous.
❓Do you see Prometheus as a useful warning about AI, or is the comparison overstated?
@pepfessions One of the best confessions yet
On the path to wellness and helping the unwell a lot of people just choose to position themselves as self righteous assholes with ZERO clinical backgrounds. Nothing but vibes and information found on the internet.
Whether it's Jay-Z, Nas, & Puffy supporting a Wall Street candidate for NYC mayor in 2021 or 50 Cent, Snoop, & Nelly performing for fascists or Lil Wayne badmouthing the BLM movement, so many of your favorite rappers from the 90s are counter-insurgents & counter-revolutionaries.
The 6 richest men in America-Elon Musk, Larry Page, Jeff Bezos, Sergey Brin, Michael Dell & Larry Ellison-got $977 billion richer since Trump’s election.
These 6 men are now worth $2.1 trillion, while Trump took food away from 4 million hungry Americans.
That’s oligarchy.
At a time when Black Americans make up 14.5% of our population — just 5% are doctors, 4% are dentists & 8.6% are nurses.
Now, Trump is making a bad health care situation even worse by cutting funding for Black medical schools due to his racist policies.
That is outrageous.
