Hi, I’m Nathan the artist and creator of Exiled Skate Co. , I’ve created this board for my brand showing off my style and personality. The rough and smooth lines used, as well as using a classic black and red combination represent my brand as well as make the design pop.

The board is made using 7 layers of maple wood with two spray paints with a matte finish to seal it. I created my design digitally, then put it on paper I then taped the board, transferred the design, and cut it out creating a stencil so that it was ready to spray

Some of my inspiration is metal music and turning the feeing of it into art; gritty looks with elegance hidden within, as well as symmetry but embracing imperfections at the same time.

My goal for my brand is to create a direct mirror of my passions: music, art and community. Finding new ways to put my musical tastes and personal experiences into my art is what I strive for, and I hope to show that through the brand that I’m building.

I’ve just finished a stencil portrait project, to start I traced out my photo, cut it out on a piece of acetate and spray painted it using my brand colours on a wooden board for practice and on a broken skateboard for the final piece
