"One can spend a whole lifetime speculating on the supersensorial and the transcendent, but all that matters is the "leap into the void" which Is the fixation of spirit and soul in an unthinkable dimension of the real;...
@ericweinstein Non-sequitor, post made me think…Are you familiar with Michael Hudson and his economic work? I would be interested to here your thoughts if you are.
In the aftermath of the Newsom-Vance Catholic Election of 2028, doublethink will not satisfy The Party. To understand the trinity, a citizen will need to practice triplethink.
In the early Christian era you weren't even a man until you were near death from realizing the world is a chuck e cheese full of worthless prizes, in which case you were to be symbolically killed by baptism and born again into a higher realm. Now only the elite human capital get suicidally depressed that way and the rest say did you catch the game until they die.
The problem with turning life into a minefield of life-ruining superstimuli & scams & saying “just don’t be stupid” is that most people are stupid & even if you’re not personally stupid, you are stupid adjacent, & mines do splash damage.
🇨🇳🇺🇸 The funniest part about the “American Gundam” metaphor is this:
Chinese netizens didn’t invent it to mock U.S. pop culture, they coined it because they studied America’s real kill-line.
A society where a missed $400 payment can trigger a collapse, where medical bills wipe out families, where homelessness means a lifespan of 3–6 years, and where a single accident can push a working adult straight into the abyss.
That’s the real “mecha,” a giant, invisible machine built from debt, insurance traps, credit scoring, and poverty cycles:
a machine that slices through ordinary people long before any crisis reaches the headlines.
Meanwhile, Western commentators still talk about China as if it were stuck in the 1950s, while Chinese lawyers and scholars dissect the architecture of U.S. social failure with microscopic precision.
And that’s the irony:
The people America thinks it’s lecturing, understand the American system far better than most Americans understand their own.
If more Americans examined their “kill-line” with the same honesty Chinese citizens apply to theirs, they’d realize the real collapse isn’t happening across the Pacific.
It’s happening at home, and just one missed payment is enough to cause a collapse.
“THE Book of Creation contains examples of general concepts which GOD wished to reveal to His creatures through His Creation. The Books of the Covenant contain examples of secret articles which GOD wished to reveal to man through man. The unity of the great Author is mirrored even in the dialect of his works – in all of them a tone of immeasurable height and depth! A proof of the most splendid majesty and of total self-divesting! A miracle of such infinite stillness that makes GOD resemble Nothingness, so that in all conscience one would have to deny His existence, or else be a beast. But at the same time a miracle of such infinite power, which fulfils all in all, that we cannot escape the intensity of His affection!" -Hamann
We are living the tale of the bricks
In Exodus 5 before the Israelites were set free, their job was to make bricks and when they grumbled, and asked to be able to sacrifice to their God, as punishment, they not only had to make the bricks now, but they had to source all the straw to make the them and the Egyptians didn’t want to experience any loss in production.
They still had to meet the same quota as before. The Egyptians made the work harder for them so they would not pay attention to the lies being spread. They were called lazy and slackers (sound familiar?) and when they couldn’t produce as before, as their fathers, they were gaslit into thinking it was their fault.
Read Exodus 5 today, we are the generation of the bricks.
