@fakeroscoejones @TheGatorGamer You may know about Chris-chan. You may even think he's funny. But never, *ever*, bring any object related to him anywhere near your person. It is a mortal hazard
@kenshirotism It's from a "hard sci-fi" book that I'm sure one of the writers read. As sure as I am that sneaking the reference into the script is how he got off that day.
@n1m1CAL@wownotever That wasn't the point of commonality I was referring to, and you didn't either.
Not really. I pity atheists, I don't spend all my energy screaming about how dumb they are, which is what atheists are doing whenever I see them online.
@n1m1CAL@wownotever It's an unnecessary addition(especially in the audiobook, which cuts right into it without any prelude) when the book itself could just stand on its bleak point and overwrought presentation.
@n1m1CAL@wownotever That part isn't my complaint. The point of most of Lovecraft's better known work is the same and I love that.
My complaint is the afterword, from the author, where he flat out says "oh btw thinking about people taking sky fairies seriously is the hardest part of writing for me"
@KamalaHarris If this picture of the young Captain of Gondor absolutely ripping a heater gets more likes then youโre desperate. We can all see it. And youโre going to lose
@EveKeneinan This would only be true if we lived in matter (and invented stories) rather than living in a story(God's) that is written, in part, with matter.
