The 13th Warrior (1999) getting dismissed at release feels more bizarre with every passing year. The atmosphere, the fog-covered villages, the campfire language scene, the genuinely eerie enemy design. Such a strange, mythic little epic.

@RetroMoviesDB I humbly disagree. It told a good story. Too many shows just get worse to squeeze out another few seasons. I did hear that the original writer of the book (& producer) had a second story to tell which was never picked up after the studio made the TV series which flopped.
