@nebulousflynn Think there needs to be some kind of standardization by way of digital use of artifacts/specimens etc Currently very complicated landscape with different licensing policies depending on institution. Many museums are pushing for an open digital ecosystem which benefits everyone.

What happened in Brazil should magnify the importance of digitization of our collections. 3D digitization especially has great value when the original has been lost. Efforts are underway in Brazil to try to determine if there is any kind of digital record.
