Guess KA's departure is not very difficult to understand.
In BJP's new organisational culture of the last four to five years (coinciding with Shah's complete control of party apparatus), upward mobility requires either being an obscure, unthinking loyalist exuding sycophantic vibes or a ruthless, loaded political operatives. And even the latter are mostly preferred when they arrive from other parties.
Even a mildly ambitious leader with a streak of independence or organic political clout will find it increasingly difficult to progress. Of course it is a deliberate choice that has arguably worked well electorally for the party but it has erased whatever credibility differential it once had over its rivals.
Another thing must be the emerging BJP-ADMK- DMK dynamics. And the post-verdict, the efforts to cobble together a DMK-ADMK government with Delhi's quiet blessing may be a pointer.
Conventional wisdom suggests any such formal alliance would be unthinkable. After all, just weeks ago, the DMK's heir apparent was making remarks in the Assembly calling for the eradication of Hinduism.
Yet politics has a way of redrawing supposedly inviolable ideological red lines. Principles that appear non-negotiable to passionate ideological supporters often become surprisingly dispensable when power wielders and political expediency enter the equation. What seems impossible today can quickly become a pmatter of 'strategic necessity' tomorrow and argued as yet another 'masterstroke'
To pitch any such alignment as 'masterstroke' and operationalise it, what will be required is rootless local leaders. The kind who don't need to face people on a daily basis as part of work as opposition on the ground, or who encounter electorate only during election or even simpler, types who secure positions via BJP's strength in other states.

Routes were not shut in favour of metro, it is due to lack of buses.

Charlapalli is developed well, no doubt.
But govt has not thought about extending Suburban trains and also building a metro line connecting to the station from central areas.
Passengers have to depend on Autos/cabs or buses with not so great frequency

Finally Navi Mumbai metro is NCMC enabled. All metros in MMR are NCMC compliant, along with BEST buses. NMMT, TMT, MBMT, KDMT and local trains need to catch up soon!
