A businessman once bought a massive diamond in South Africa, about the size of an egg yolk.

But to his disappointment, the stone had a crack inside.

He took it to a skilled jeweler, hoping for advice.

The jeweler examined it carefully and said:

“This diamond can be split into two perfect gems, each worth more than the original stone. But one wrong strike and it will shatter into worthless fragments. I won’t take that risk.”

The businessman traveled the world, showing the diamond to jewelers in many countries.

Each one gave the same answer: "Too risky".

Finally, someone told him about an old master jeweler in Amsterdam known for his golden hands.

He flew there the same day.
The old jeweler studied the diamond through his monocle and warned him again of the risk.
The businessman interrupted:

“I’ve heard that story before. I’m ready. Just do it.”

The jeweler nodded, agreed on the price, then turned to a young apprentice working quietly nearby.

The boy took the diamond, placed it on his palm, and struck it once, clean and precise.

The stone split beautifully into two flawless gems.

Without even looking up, he handed them back to the master.

Astonished, the businessman asked:

“How long has he been working for you?”

The old jeweler smiled.

“This is his third day. He doesn’t know the real value of the stone, that’s why his hand didn’t tremble.”

Sometimes the more we fear losing something, the less capable we become of doing what needs to be done.

The Man Who “Served” 13 Years… Without Ever Seeing a Prison Cell 💔✨ Cornealious “Mike” Anderson made a terrible decision in 2000 he robbed a Burger King in Missouri and stole $2,000. He was arrested, admitted the crime, and a judge sentenced him to 13 years in prison. In 2003, the court told him: “Go home and wait. We’ll tell you when to report.” But the call never came. 📌 A clerical error his file was entered under Mike Anderson instead of Cornealious caused the system to completely lose track of him. For 13 years, officials believed he was already behind bars. And here’s where the story takes a turn no one expected… Mike didn’t run. He didn’t hide. He didn’t commit another crime. Instead, he became the man prison was supposed to help him become: • He married the love of his life ❤️ • Raised his children with honesty and compassion 👨‍👩‍👧 • Started a construction business 🧱 • Paid taxes, renewed his license, lived in plain sight 📄 • Volunteered at church and in his community 🙏 • Never broke another law 🚫 For more than a decade, he proved people can change even without a prison cell to force it. Then came the shock… 📅 2013 The day he was supposed to be released from prison. Authorities finally noticed: He had never been locked up at all. Police arrived at his home and arrested him in front of his family. The country was outraged. Even the prison warden said: “This man doesn’t belong here.” Support poured in from around the nation. Thousands demanded his release. And finally… justice listened. A judge ruled that the life Mike lived, honest, responsible, and redemptive would count as time served. He walked out a free man. A bureaucratic mistake gave him the one thing prison rarely does: a real second chance. ✨ Mike Anderson’s story asks us: ❓What is justice really for punishment or transformation? Sometimes, the system fails… And a man becomes better because of its failure, not its success.
