Tag a Christ mythicist.
Historians agree that Jesus existed:
Scholar Michael Grant says: “To sum up, modern critical methods fail to support the Christ-myth theory. It has ‘again and again been answered and annihilated by first-rank scholars.”
Talarico sharing his distortions of Hebrew and shaming Christians, and doing it in God’s name.
The guy not only does all that, he stands there saying nothing is wrong with kids while approving life altering medications and surgeries that suppress their natural sex and bring them great harm.
This isn’t anything new. It’s just “Progressive Christianity.”
We are nearly $40 trillion in debt. Working families are stretched thin. And Washington is still sending federal benefits to people who entered this country illegally.
My End Welfare for Non-Citizens Act supports American citizens instead of rewarding those who came to the U.S. illegally. This is basic fiscal responsibility, and it is long overdue.
@NEWSMAX The same polling organization did a poll in April that had Talarico up 5 points over Paxton. This means Talaricos lead, in what seems like a poll that skews dem, has fallen to just 3 points.
@Riskyappetite@RandPaul "Trying" is overrated if it creates a worse problem, shortages. What's better? All the food you could ever want at market prices, or no food at all at lower prices? Because if you force food prices below the market price, there will be less food than is needed to meet demand.
Is everyone who was complaining about AIPAC's control over elections going to ignore that Paxton just defeated the AIPAC-backed Cornyn? Just like the Massie case, it was the most expensive primary Senate race in history. Cornyn spent $60 m more than Paxton who won by 28 points.
@Buzzsaws1990@swamthetiber25 Note I said "could". Jesus also could have just preferred a spiritually mature trusted disciple over his actual siblings. Just because typical Hebrew traditions said one thing doesn't require Jesus to follow it. He's God. Heck maybe he just knew John would do a better job.

“There’s a question that I get a lot these days. People will come up and say, ‘What happened to all of these people? What happened to Candace Owens or Tucker Carlson or Megyn Kelly, and all the rest?’
And I don’t know the answer, because I am not a psychiatrist. But here is what I do know:
Nobody has ever asked that question about me. No one. Because my worldview has not changed. It has not changed. My principles have not changed, because I think those principles are true and good. And those principles are not going to change.
So, in the end, take it or leave it.”
@RandalRauser@Philip_Goff As soon as atheists stop pretending Christianity and science are incompatible, that the the literal founder of every major discipline of science wasn't Christian.
