@nqatpod Understandable the local govt would be prepared to invest in transport infrastructure, even though expecting them to stump up for the stadium itself is a pipe dream. The Glazers of course threatened to take the Bucs out of Tampa, who knows what they might resort to here.
@shaunconnolly85@Theatre_of_Red Aside from his numbers, always wants to get on the ball and take responsibility. Great game intelligence too, which is exactly what we have been crying out for. At times we are too nice and naive on the pitch, Cunha has an edge. More please.
@shaunconnolly85@Theatre_of_Red Of course we’re not but there doesn’t seem to be much we can do about it, otherwise they wouldn’t have been able to last over two decades. The only hope lies with Carrick and our players. Pleasure to chat, well done on the podcast.
@shaunconnolly85@Theatre_of_Red Think they (the Glazers and owners) have figured out they can kick us as much as they want and there won’t be much of a reaction; very sad. If they miss out on Anderson, so be it, just move on. We don’t need excuses or sob stories about wages. Some you win, some you lose.
@shaunconnolly85@Theatre_of_Red They would have been best off keeping the Anderson interest to themselves and just working on the quiet. Leaking it after the summer window closed and throughout January was a cynical ploy to appease fans because they didn’t bring in a midfielder then (which they should have).
@shaunconnolly85@Theatre_of_Red Of course believe you Shaun, but do think the club and ownership has been deceiving its fans for years. As soon as the summer window closed, they were happy to repeat via reliable journalists (Ornstein) that Anderson was the priority. They should have kept their mouths shut.
@RioMeets He’s on 350 grand a week, we’re in debt and owned by the Glazers. No way they will want to countenance his salary for a season. Rashford wants to be valued, but the only club which ever matches his fiscal expectation is United, nobody else does.
