As early as around 1970, people had fantasies of combining animal characters with humans, because some found this attractive, in a sexual way.

There were already very early comics about animal characters that aroused people. Quite early on, there was increasing interest in things that were less human, and the first non-human things that come to mind are animals and their various forms and appearances, which people then combined with humans. And of course, more developed from this, because from fantasies people want to make as much as possible into reality, and logically, costumes eventually emerged as well. Especially the older furries in the community, who are around 50–70 years old, still know a lot about the history. And what else happened behind the scenes can be imagined...

Early on, German doctors recognized homosexuality as an illness. From 1990 onwards, homosexuality was then recognized as normal in order to ensure acceptance and tolerance toward gay people, which does not make the fact disappear.

Homosexuality does not make reproduction possible, and if everyone were gay, the world could not continue forever. There has to be regular reproduction. At the moment this still works, but not if everyone is gay.
