The first time I ever produced a song it was a co-production with DOOM.

We sampled "Nights Over Egypt" by the Jones Girls -- I selected the song and where to chop it, he used it to show & teach me one of his methods for sampling -- this tune was of course produced by the great Dexter Wansel.

May two of the greatest Rest in Peace.

p.s. Long snecdote how RODAN ended up with the instrumental, but he wrote/recorded "R.O.D.A.N. (Ruler of Day and NIght) as soon as he had it in hand then sent it to DOOM who was like "Yo, how'd he get that beat yo?!!?".

Rodan too is one of the biggest Dexter Wansel enthusiasts I've ever known, I'd say 10% of all conversations between Rodan and I included some reference or mention of Mr. Wansel & his music...
