@jeevanpatwa @darshanvmehta1 200+ drugs for Alzheimer’s have failed in the clinic. A major reason for Biogen drug approval was lack of anything for patients. Going forward, drug candidates will be met with the same scrutiny & might not get approved since “patients have nothing” argument is over.

@arpit971 And I think the bridging studies are necessary because we do not know how does the vaccine react in an individual who is of Indian origin, lives in the tropical climate, eats a different diet, etc. Lot of push in the US to include more diversity in trials.
