The Eynon Group studies epigenetics in healthy ageing, exercise, and sex differences. Using wet-lab & bioinformatics, we focus on 'omics' datasets like DNAme
We recently attended the @AEpiA conference in Dunedin and had a blast!π¬ π€
On top of that, our own @nir_eynon was awarded the inaugural Susan Clark Medal !! π
Congrats to him and to all the people that made #AEpiA2024 special π π―

Congratulation to Andrew Palmer from our lab, who just confirmed his PhD and became a Doctor.
His thesis 'FIBRE TYPE SPECIFIC DNAMETHYLATION IN HUMANSKELETALMUSCLE' has some awesome findings which will be published soon.
We are very proud of Andrew ππ
Recent @ScienceAdvances paper by collaborator @prof_horvath analyzed 15K DNA methylation samples in 348 mammalian species, indicate DNAm max life-span predictor has a potential innate longevity advantage for females in 17 species including humans!
