Here’s the prompt it returned:
I have a UniFi UDM-family gateway on my local network. Audit it and propose
optimizations. Credentials are in the environment as UNIFI_HOST, UNIFI_USER,
UNIFI_PASS — a local-only admin account.
Context:
- ISP is Verizon Fios, 1 Gig. Real provisioned ceiling is ~940/880 Mbps, not 1000.
- No Fios TV set-top boxes — ignore multicast/IGMP/MoCA entirely.
- Primary complaint: not hitting full speed on a wired test.
- Secondary goal: general tune-up.
API notes:
- Console uses a self-signed cert; skip verification.
- Auth: POST https://$UNIFI_HOST/api/auth/login with {"username","password"}.
Keep the TOKEN cookie and the CSRF token from the response headers — writes
require the X-CSRF-Token header.
- On UDM hardware the Network application lives under
/proxy/network/api/s/default/
PHASE 1 — back up, then read only. Change nothing.
1. Pull a full config backup and save it locally. Confirm the file exists and
is a plausible size before going further.
2. Report on:
- WAN port link speed and duplex (I need to know if it's 1000 FDX or 100)
- Smart Queues / QoS: enabled? at what rates?
- IPS/IDS mode and sensitivity
- Hardware offload status
- WAN MTU
- IPv6: DHCPv6 enabled? prefix delegation size?
- Per AP: model, band, channel, channel width, TX power, min RSSI
- Per SSID: band, minimum data rate, security mode, fast roaming, band steering
- Channel interference / neighboring AP data if the controller exposes it
- Firmware versions installed vs available
- Client count per AP per band
PHASE 2 — propose, don't apply.
Give me a prioritized list. For each change: current value, proposed value,
reasoning, and what breaks if it goes wrong. Rank throughput fixes first,
general tune-up second.
RULES:
- Apply nothing until I approve it explicitly, item by item.
- Never touch WAN, firewall, or remote-access settings. I'll do those manually.
- When applying approved changes, do one at a time and verify every AP is still
adopted and online before the next.
- If an AP drops after a change, revert that change immediately.
- Do not enable 160 MHz channel width anywhere.
I’ve seen this same post from two different people now. Not sure if it’s engagement farming. Either way, I did the same but I asked Claude to create the prompt for me so it doesn’t do anything destructive since I’ve had my setup for over two years. You all may want to do the same.
There’s nothing to be jealous of. It’s called critical thinking. Plus I also use Tradezella, so I know that if I want to post a screenshot showing $5 million PnL I easily could.
Also, if home boy truly was putting up the numbers he posts the oppression will be 10x what he posts. E dey am for him body.
Iconic photos tell tales of iconic routes travelled on the way to great national history. Nigeria's unfolding national rediscovery & nation-building path wiĺl be no less significant in the fullness of time. The encompassing Mosaic of the Obidient Movement is being unfurled.
What I saw, past, present and future, that made me decide to exit partisan politics in Nigeria completely: We aren’t ready for real democracy. Too much poverty &the financial corruption it enables. Too many evil, powerful vested interests. Weak institutions. Illiterate electorate
It is common knowledge that Nigerians in the Diaspora send money back home for various reasons. Some of which include, payment for goods/services, taking care of loved ones, paying school fees/hospital bills, building homes, starting businesses, etc. 1/x

Pros: The research & education is unparalleled. CPro saved me from a world of hurt in crypto, now I'm on my way to becoming "Post Economic"
Cons: Arguments can be made that there's a bias to DEFI and not much else. Will be good to see that change
@BrianBrooksUS@BinanceUS If you could assist with this, that will be great! But I’m not the only one. There are tons of folks who have funds trapped with no form of respite in sight.
@BrianBrooksUS I believe your heart is in the right place, but you have a lot of work ahead of you. It’s clear @BinanceUS has liquidity issues. They have been giving me the run around for 2mos now. Initially claimed they refunded my $25k, now I being told my bank acc. of over a decade is closed
@jimmy_black_ I just got teased. I have the site up and refresh it multiple times a day. Monthly and Lifetime pricing showed then when I clicked on Lifetime it changed to “There are no plans available”. LOL
