A new 5km run series set to take place in Ormeau park. With no set start time or mass start, it's an easier way to get running!

Good morning everyone! Given the great numbers we've had so far, we're looking into the possibility of a Winter Challenge on Boxing Day. How many of you would be interested?

@KerrConor Hi Conor, unfortunately the council still haven't given us the green light for this one, we've been asking but getting nowhere. Given how close we are to the proposed date, we don't have time to put it together. Hopefully future races are approved more quickly!

Race 3 Update

We've gotten confirmation through that the next event in the series will be held on the 29th of August! The aim is a 6-8pm session only, again in Ormeau Park. Stay tuned for details and entry links!

Not a great start to the week - the 5k planned for the 29th has still not been approved by the council, and so unfortunately won't be going ahead. Very frustrating. Hoping that plans for a Winter Challenge can progress, info will go out as it emerges!

Following the success of the 1st event, Race 2 will take place on the 26th in Ormeau Park. The huge turnout has also allowed us to reduce entry fees!

The next race in the @forestsideni 5k Summer Challenge Series is due to take place on the 26th of June, pending confirmation from the council.

The format will be the same as before, with afternoon and evening sessions.
