Today we recorded some very well preserved tombs on the top of a mountain. The tombs and landscape were breathtaking. The tallest tomb is 3.20m high and no entrance was observed. We wonder if access to the chamber has been gained from the top of the tombs.

Today we began our survey of Bronze Age tombs in the Bisya region, with our colleagues from @OmanMHT, as part of the @FAMCOman and #arabiancairns @AgenceRecherche project. The landscapes are breathtaking and the tombs impressive.

قدمت د.ماتتيلدا حبن ود.مارتن من جامعة السوربون الفرنسية محاضرة عن نتائج المسوحات والتنقيبات الأثرية في موقع بسياء الأثري بولاية بهلاء، استعرضت خلالها أهم نتائج الاكتشافات الأثرية للبعثة والتي تمثلت بعمل توثيق للمباني والمدافن المنتشرة على السطح، وبالتحديد في موقع الظبي 2 والذي يحتوي على عدد من الأبراج الضخمة العائدة إلى العصر البرونزي المبكر. حيث عثر على حبوب النخيل المتفحم وعلى عدد من بذور النباتات الأخرى. ومن خلال التنقيب في أحد الأبراج عثر على حفر حرق وعدد من الحجارة المصفوفة بشكل مسطح. كما عثر أيضًا على العديد من الفخاريات المحلية الصنع وأخرى من بلاد السند. كما قامت البعثة بدراسة فخاريات أحد المدافن وتوثيقها ورسمها بشكل علمي.

على هامش الحفرية الخليجية المشتركة التي تنفذها الوزارة في موقع صنب بولاية بوشر في محافظة مسقط، قام المشاركون من دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي بزيارة مركز زوار بسياء وسلوت بولاية بهلاء للتعرف على البعد التاريخي للمنطقة الأثرية وتاريخ البحث الأثري فيها.
كما زار المشاركون متحف عمان عبر الزمان بولاية منح واطلعوا على معروضات المتحف التي تعكس تاريخ عمان عبر العصور وصولًا لعصر النهضة الحديثة.
