American music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs reportedly suffered a head injury following a prison fight with notorious Jamaican drug lord Christopher “Dudus” Coke at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey.
According to an October 14 report by TMZ, multiple prison sources claim the two inmates clashed on Friday, October 9, after tensions escalated over Diddy’s alleged luxurious lifestyle behind bars.
The report claims inmates became furious after an NBC News investigation exposed Diddy’s alleged access to special privileges, prompting prison officials to conduct at least two raids and confiscate contraband cellphones, including one reportedly belonging to Dudus.
Sources allege that Dudus confronted Diddy over the situation, resulting in a physical altercation in which Diddy sustained a head injury. He was reportedly transported by ambulance to an outside medical facility early Saturday morning for treatment.
TMZ further reports that both men were placed in the prison’s Special Housing Unit for two weeks, although Diddy had already been housed there before the alleged confrontation.
Coke, the former Tivoli Gardens strongman, has been serving a 23-year federal prison sentence since 2012.
