Every year, #FBI St. Louis and field offices across the country hold a memorial service to honor our fallen. To date, a total of 107 FBI special agents and professional staff were killed in the line of duty or in the performance of duty.
The Bureau-wide total includes Special Agent Douglas Abram, a Missouri native, who was shot and killed on January 19, 1990. Agent Abram and his SWAT team members were securing a St. Louis County house before a search warrant for drugs and weapons could be executed.
The FBI extends its heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Deputy Logan Utt of the Carroll County Sheriff's Office. Our thoughts are with all those mourning his loss.

Today, FBI Co-Deputy Director Andrew Bailey announced the results of Operation Viper — a coordinated effort between federal, state, and local law enforcement made possible by a historic increase in FBI resources for St. Louis, secured last year with support from @SenEricSchmitt.
Operation Viper resulted in:
•91 arrests to include 45 state fugitives
•More than $310,000 in cash seized
•And significant quantities of illegal narcotics seized
