Day 8 without AO3.
It's dark and… frigid. We're running low on firewood.
Last night, a visitor appeared at our door, offering countless stories, but they're all orphaned works with no ending. I couldn't imagine a worse kind of torture.
I dread these next couple of weeks.
Day 7 without AO3.
My God. It's been a whole week without you, my dear.
The children are beside themselves. I handed one of them a bookmark for their novel, and they smacked it from my hand, saying, “How dare you stand where he stood!”
I am fearful. Hopefully, you return soon.
ME AND MY FAMILY OF 600000 ILLEGAL VIETNAMESE IMMIGRANTS ARE GOING TO AMERICA AND TURNING EVERYONE TRANSGENDER!!!!!!!!!! 🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️
MAKE AMERICA GAY AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Day 6 without ao3.
Almost an entire week. Lord. One of the children did something impressive today, so I responded by saying, “Kudos, my child!” They immediately wept and cried out for their father.
Oh, ao3. You cannot come home soon enough.
Day 5 without AO3.
The children keep running around, playing tag in the fields. However, instead of saying, “Tag, you’re it,” they are now saying, “Hashtag, slow burn. Hashtag, enemies to lovers.”
I do not understand what it means. I wonder if it is their way of coping…
Day 4 without ao3.
It is absolute chaos. At dawn, the children brought a dead dove inside the house and told me not to eat it. After that, they wept, saying it reminded them of their father.
I sent a messenger pigeon to ao3, but I fear it, too, may die like the dove.
Day 3 without ao3.
The children are turning against me. They are wasting rations and clawing at the walls.
I tried to soothe them by reading a story from fanfiction dot net… but they did not like it. At all. They still want their father.
It’s getting grim. I’m losing hope.
Day 1 without ao3.
It's cold, and I can't stop the children from crying. They don't know when father will return. I don't have the heart to tell them that it will be weeks. A month even. I've tried making a fire countless times, but it won't take.
Tomorrow will be better.
