Huge thanks to Rep. @JerryNadler for his leadership & record of service to our nation. I'm proud to have such a broad coalition of support. I'll fight every day in Albany for housing, public education, climate justice & NYers' civil rights in the face of rising authoritarianism.
Proud to announce our campaign has been endorsed by @JustinBrannan! I'm honored to have such a fearless fighter for working people join our coalition as we work to deliver on the affordability and justice agenda New Yorkers demanded in November.
@davidfrum Stop. I live in NYC and that is not something that anyone in my 3-generation Jewish family worries about. I worry about whether my kids can afford to live in the city, the e-bikes going the wrong way on one way streets, and rats on the side streets on the UES and UWS.
The best way to stop Cuomo IMO:
Before early voting starts (6/14), Mamdani, A. Adams, Lander, Stringer & Myrie hold a joint rally (in front of city hall, a nursing home, whatever)
They announce a coordinated ranking strategy: “Rank all 5 of us in any order but don’t rank Cuomo”
-Trump's 100 day-in approval rating is lowest of any president @ 39%. The 2nd lowest was Trump's 1st term at 42%
-Trump has more than doubled inflation expectations, from 2.8% to 6.5%
-Consumer sentiment dropped 27% over the 100 days
-Annual measles (YTD) outbreaks skyrocketed
How are you feeling 100 days into Trump presidency:
-Goldman Sachs predicting 45% chance of recession
-S&P 500, which had been steadily climbing, is down 7% also very volatile & has been down as much as 17%

I'm a no on cloture, I'm a no on the CR, and I'm a no on giving Elon Musk and Donald Trump a slush fund to rig the government for billionaires like themselves at the expense of everyone else.
Democrats should take immediate action to force a vote in Congress on Trump's Canada/Mexico tariffs.
Make every House and Senate Republican either break with the president or own the economic consequences.
Can Democrats do this in the minority? Yes, they can. 1/
Always good to see crime going down in our great city. Maybe let the former governor/wannabe mayor know since he makes it sound like it’s some shit hole.
A baby from the Abu Warda family was tragically killed this morning in an Israeli artillery strike on the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
@StreetsPAC If you live on LI, you likely already own a car so the marginal cost of driving to Manhattan are gas, parking, possible other tolls and wear and tear on the car. It’s still cheaper to drive for a family of four.
WFP co-director attacks the state Democratic Party for getting into the Prop 1 fight too late. "And instead of showing up on time for a prop that they put on the ballot, they showed up late and started blaming the women that were running that campaign... Fuck that"
One of the best decisions that our group, @DemocracyMarker, made in the last 6 years was starting a giving circle with @StatesProjectUS in 2019. If anything, state legislatures will be even more important in the next four years. Join us! https://t.co/jYG5tkKZRl
@RossBarkan Nope. None of them were running a presidential campaign in 128 days or whatever it was. Tammy and Jackie were incumbents and barely won and thank G-d they did. Slotkin is an interesting political figure with some good insights on winning in red turf.
California is ready to fight.
I just called an emergency special session to help bolster our legal resources and protect our state against any unlawful actions by the incoming Trump Administration.
Whether it be our fundamental civil rights, reproductive freedom, or climate action -- we refuse to turn back the clock and allow our values and laws to be attacked.

Fresher evidence emerging of what a lousy candidate Kamala Harris was as Jacky Rosen, Elissa Slotkin, and Tammy Baldwin all look headed for victory. All three women would have been far better at topping a presidential ticket.
