Dedicated to electing officials committed to the safety, mobility & livability of one of NYC’s greatest assets: its streets. Only endorsements are endorsements.
Rallying at the courts for congestion pricing — New Jersey’s 11th hour attempts to derail the program are baseless. It’s time to focus on getting the program up and running this weekend and delivering results for NY & NJ. #CongestionPricingNow 🗣️
In just 2 weeks, Int. 1138, introduced by @CMJulieWon has 12 sponsors + @BKBPReynoso to increase the visibility at intersections for people driving, walking, and biking alike. This list includes @CMBrooksPowers, chair of the Transportation and Infra. Committee.
Yesterday, we testified at the City Council's oversight hearing on e-bikes, expressing our strong opposition to a bill that would require that all e-bikes and e-scooters be registered with the NYC Department of Transportation. Full testimony via the link. https://t.co/XH7iFvgSDG
Big street safety news in NYC: a 'daylighting' bill has been introduced in City Council. It'd force NYC to comply w/state law for parking within 20 ft of a crosswalk (it exempts itself currently), and codify the city's promise for 1,000 intersections/yr.

Regular street-sweeping reminder: those opposing changes to the status quo on NYC streets are primarily seeking to protect their privilege of free on-street parking, at the expense of pedestrians, @NYCTBus riders, and #bikeNYC. 🙄
"The intersection... has been the scene of numerous crashes."
"'At least four in this garden. Its awful,' Green said."
"'We’ve lived in this house since childhood and we’ve seen so many accidents. So many times my aunt had to repair that fence.'" https://t.co/KhWW8Q2mQz

#CongestionPricing is coming to NYC, bringing safer streets, better transit, cleaner air, and a brighter future for all.
Thank you @GovKathyHochul for turning the program on, and thanks to our friends w/in @FundTransitNow helping us get this across the finish line!
“That jibes perfectly with what... every... sentient New Yorker sees every day, which is the ongoing collapse of driver performance, driver awareness, driver consideration and driver law abiding-ness that you see practically on every street in the city.” https://t.co/0TvmY0MLYd
Please join us in Brooklyn on December 9th for a fundraiser for Mark Levine. A 3x StreetsPAC endorsee, Mark has been a champion for safer streets and better public transit as Manhattan BP and in the City Council. RSVP here: https://t.co/cUvgCywmdg
Everyday reckless driving in #NYC: driver of massive SUV going through the intersection at Columbus and 86th Street a full five seconds after the light turned red. But hey, cyclists are the real scofflaws, right? 🤦
Meanwhile, in New York, the City Council went to the mat to ensure that developers have to continue to build parking spaces whether they're needed or not.
