@BayouCitySoccer If he wants to refute the "selling club" label, he needs to do a provable job of buying. The first truly good off-season of buying will be this year if the new guys pan out.
@BayouCitySoccer “Buy and sell in the best interest of making us a competitive club” - need to reconcile this with selling a core piece of your defense two years in a row so close to the season start. I get selling at the right price, but if it kneecaps you…what’s the point
@BayouCitySoccer No such thing as a selling or buying clubs, There is only two types of clubs, those that value profit over winning and those that value winning over profit. Sadly we know were we fall.
@BayouCitySoccer I'm starting to feel sorry for Ben. He seems to have a good plan for building rosters and formations, but he's been screwed repeatedly by two separate teams now.
Other than that, my season tickets are pretty expensive for a selling team. Going downtown to watch a team play poorly is a giant pain in the ass. Maybe I need to start thinking about all those things.
He shouldn't act like the Micael decision was anything other than a disaster for Dynamo's defense, which might have cost us enough points to miss the playoffs. Losing a key defender like this again is going to bite our asses.
I don't think Segal gets it when it comes to selling players. A winning team has more valuable players, and you don't win when you keep making last-minute deals. I don't know who he's repeating, but they probably weren't running a successful team.
@GlennDavisSoc@FrankwithHank It would be better if they would stop the last minute moves. Ben, having to change plans between the last preseason and the first regular games, is making his job even more difficult. Two years in a row now.
