A tale of two @MiamiDolphins HC candidates vs CHI this post season:
Hafley, def salary cap 106m, 31 pts allowed, L
Shula, def salary cap 58m, 17 pts allowed, W
Surely we're going to sign the right guy.
@AdamSchefter If Hafley is the hire, it's worse than it seems. He's obviously underqualified amongst the candidates itnerviewed. Immediate cronyism from JES after a lifetime of dealing with Grier. Dark times ahead.
@AdamSchefter This is a product of circumstance, not talent or ability. He backed the QB he was stuck with and did some amazing things within the given constraints. The next chapter for the Dolphins better be worth it.
ESPN Sources: Miami Dolphins and general manager Chris Grier met this morning and mutually agreed to part ways.
Grier has been with the Dolphins since 2000, and has served as their general manager since 2016.
