Honestly, if all the fans who hate censorship of any kind decided not to buy this and let Atlus of Japan know through social media, I truly believe this would end quickly, since I genuinely believe we outnumber the woke crowd when it comes to these games by far.

The problem is that many people who claim to be anti-woke STILL buy the products they say contain content they hate, which means they're supporting the very changes they oppose anyway.

People need to use their brains more and be more strategic when fighting woke ideology in anime and gaming.

Persona 4 is currently in my top three best JRPG stories. That said, I personally don't see the value in buying this remake. If they're going to change how these classic characters behave in order to appeal to a modern audience, then I don't see the point in supporting it. If I buy the game, that would send the message that I support those changes, and I don't.

まず大前提として、この作品は日本で人気が出たから連載され、アニメ化まで進んでいる。

ニコ生でも2位だったし。

本当に日本人が嫌っているなら、そもそもアニメ化まで行くわけがない。

日本人の反応も見てない、ソースも確認してない、ただ自分たちの頭の中にある「都合のいい日本人像」を叩いて気持ちよくなってるだけ。

「汚い」「きつい」という感想がある？ 当たり前だろ。そういう作品なんだから。汚部屋、タバコ、だらしない生活、クズっぽさを、かわいい猫耳キャラでやるギャップを楽しむ作品だぞ？

それを勝手に「日本人は現実逃避しているためにアニメを見るので現実を見たくない」と解釈するのは、作品を理解していない以前に、日本の漫画やアニメ文化をまったく知らないだけ。

日本には昔から、下品な作品も、汚い作品も、グロい作品も、社会の底辺を描いた作品も普通にあるし、むしろオタクが好きな分野やで。
面白ければ受け入れられる。

こういう作品は日本だから生まれるのであって君達の国だと生まれないし需要もないだろ？

海外勢は日本を分析しているつもりかもしれないけど、実際には日本人の声を聞かず、自分たちの妄想を日本に押しつけているだけ。まず日本でどう受け止められているのか確認してから語るべきだろうな。

@23Mordred @MrTalkingDino As a Fates fan as well, from lack of consent in FEH, I'd vote FEH as worse. Out of all the FEH original characters, Seidr's one of the last I'd consider romancing, much less having a kid with even once. Now, if it was Gullveig or Baldr though... 👀
