@NewBedfordGuide To be fair, we’ve come a long way, especially in the commonwealth, but it doesn’t help when the FFing foam we use and turnout gear we wear are carcinogenic, and the manufacturers are complicit it covering it up.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the Active Duty Death of Local 3128 President Lt Eddie Suarez, Engine 2, Group 2 after a courageous battle with job related cancer. Eddie served the citizens of the city & members of the local with tenacity, pride and dedication. Rest In Peace.

Congresswoman @LoriTrahanMA stopped by to have a look at our new Engines, one of which was bought with a federal grant. The Fitchburg FD couldn’t do it without the Congresswoman, Mayor DiNatale, Rep Hay and Sen Tran all working together to serve the public as well as we do.
