@janekleeb @ChrisVailNE Wind is subsidized. Wind turbine efficiency is 35 to 40% and requires an average land area of one acre for each turbine. Plus access roads and new infrastructure to transmit the energy. It requires 200+ wind turbines to replace a 650MW fossil plant. Solar is even worse.
