Finally, we saw upsetting imagery this past weekend in our nation's capital. I wanted to support two of the groups that needlessly saw symbols of hate plastered in the news. #CanadaCupFF is about giving back to those in need & these groups need our support more than ever. (5/5)

It's been quite a month but I finally got around to making to donating the prize fund of the 2021-2022 #CanadaCupFF league. It still surreal that I managed to come away victorious, but the benefit is that I got to be creative with how the donation pool was distributed. (1/5)

I'm so grateful to everyone that took part in the #CanadaCupFF. Getting to play a game that we love while giving back to a charity is what makes this league special. And there's no way this happens without you - so thank you. 🙏🏾

With week 17 of the NFL season wrapped up, we're also closing the books on another #CanadaCupFF season.

As a league, we raised $1050 to be donated to one of the fantastic charities across Canada.

The final came down to @DynastyCanuck (Milk Bag division) and me (Milk Carton division). We played representing @mch_childrens and @FirstBookCanada.

In an unexpected result, I managed to secure the win (largely in part to an equally unexpected day from Amon-Ra! Go Lions!)

But the most important part of this weekend will be the charities that we're playing for.

Not only am I representing the Milk Carton division, but I'm also playing for @FirstBookCanada. On the other side, @DynastyCanuck will be playing for the fine folks at @mch_childrens

Week 17 of the NFL season is almost upon us and so is the final of the #CanadaCupFF

On one side of the bracket, @DynastyCanuck from the Milk Bag division poured past @FF_Monsters to advance.

In a tight match, I managed to slip past @itsharristime to fill the Canada Cup final.

In a high scoring match, @itsharristime narrowly beat @Mattymar89 by 3 points. I managed to win against @TheFFAviator to set the rest of the bracket.

Thanks to all who contributed to the prize fund so far, as of now $775 will be donated to our winner's charity of choice.

As we head into Week 16 of the NFL season and the semifinals of the #CanadaCupFF, let's look back at the week that was...

@DynastyCanuck took down @paultheoret by 10 points setting up a duel with @FF_Monsters who won a tiebreaker against @Bangarangwild1 to move on.

@CeeDeeLambo @MadScientistFF Fair point. But it's one match. Physically, CD just seemed like he'd hold up better for a full Quidditch season. As we saw in CoS, HP is just a rogue bludger away the IR.

But this is a hot take we'll never have an answer to thanks to Peter Pettigrew. RIP Cedric.

I appreciate all the patience in a season where my time was stretched more than I expected. But the goal remains the same...play fantasy football with some great people and raise some money for a Canadian charity.
