Good faith response here. Maintain the 4473 (b/g check) on purchases, eliminate the 1930’s language of the NFA which is what has caused all of this “pistol” and AOW nonsense/loopholing. Gun laws are only followed by people who aren’t already planning criminal activity. So I think the most common sense thing is to throw the book at prohibited persons in possession. Felon in possession should be 10 years minimum. The vast majority of gun crime is done by people who are already outside the rules of the law
