No, just being "afraid of spiders" isn't a phobia on it's own.

It requires there to be an irrational/extreme element to it.

Being afraid of something can be logical. It's the irrationality of that fear that causes it to be a phobia.

Which is why it is important that words have meanings. Otherwise, you could change the meaning of a word to simply fit an agenda.

Two original gen 19x MOS threaded barrel guns...
And FOUR P320 tacops...

He also gave me two Remington 700 300blk guns.

This is freaking bizarroworld right now.

Tale from the Gun Store time!

Young man that works at a competing shop came in and brought his girlfriend.

He was coming in specifically to pick up a use Glock 17 we had.

She, however, did not know that. She wanted a pink 43x that we have in the case, only to have him start paperwork on a 17.

Her: "What the f***? Where's my gun?"

Him: "This, baby, is for us, don't worry!"

He fills out paperwork and we're waiting on the background to go through.

We are all talking, she's fun. Definitely a fire cracker and he obviously has his hands full with this one.

Of course, I can't help it. Time to stir the pot.

Me: "So, you're coming to put the rest of that $1200 on the AK on Friday, right?"

He had a deer in headlights look, she yelled things I couldn't understand. Glorious mayhem ensued.

Then she realizes it was a joke and she busts out laughing.

Turns out, she's pregnant.

She wants a gun for her "baby mama gift" and that's why she thought they were in... not for him to get a Glock. ("baby mama gift" was her words, not mine, but in this case I support it... because gun) and is probably coming back later this week for a Muddy-girl Smith and Wesson we have chilling.

I love this job.
