@44MagnumBlue1 Marc and I were High School Classmates, we graduated in May 1967 and less than a year later, he died in combat. Our hometown raised a memorial to him; he was more than an inscription on a Wall in D.C.

As Will Rogers explained quite succinctly a 100 years ago- “Politics pretty quiet over the week-end. Democrats are attacking and the Republicans are defending. All the Democrats have to do is promise “what they would do if they got in.” But the Republicans have to promise “what they would do” and then explain why they haven’t already “done it.”

In 1867 the United States purchased Alaska for $7.2 millions dollars ($156 million in Today's dollars). At the time it was called "Seward's Folly", what would you call spending $700 billions dollars? Erik the Red convinced Norse colonists in 978 A.D. to settle in that desolated wasteland by calling Greenland. I imagine Donald Trump has a similar plan.

The Country will never "heal" or move on to reach it's full potential as long as we keep appointing people who put their own interests before the Country's. Florida has elected true leaders, yet they will never serve beyond their Term Limits while a "megalomanic" sits in the "White House" and rules with evil intent.
