A sitting Pennsylvania Senator just told me she’s ready to “take off the gloves” because I asked questions about her record and criticized conditions in communities she represents.
Camera Bartolotta, you’re an elected official. You answer to the people. The people do not answer to you.

Calling legitimate scrutiny “bullying” doesn’t make the questions disappear. Neither does condescension, personal attacks, redirection, or calling me “hon.”

I’ve been watching Pennsylvania government for six years. I know how this game works: when they don’t want to answer the substance, they attack the person asking the questions.

I’m now digging further into Bartolotta’s record, including legislation involving public pensions and any potential implications for her husband, former Democratic House Speaker Bill DeWeese, who served prison time following his corruption conviction.
