I always shop for the week off the weekly sales flyers so I can stock up. There are no significant sales here on ground beef, and most cuts of beef. Only ground sirloin is on “sale” at Publix this week and it’s $9.49/lb. Best price I’ve found is Aldi at $5.50-$6.00/lb, but the quality is meh
@EstieMaddie That one was always his BDay gift. The bar with the golden ticket was later after he found a coin in the street and bought one. He opened it up outside and hauled ass home through the town with the ticket in hand.
Blue states: Our men are women!
Florida: Our women are women… and still have bigger balls than your men. 😂
Fresh off the club in fishnets and heels, this swamp temptress casually grabs a big invasive python like a runaway child. The second she got her hands around the head, that snake stiffened right up. Something tells me this ain’t her first rodeo handling snakes of all sizes — that outfit says she’s got plenty of experience.
The only thing she did wrong, was release it back into the wild — instead of decapitating it.
From old country girls to swamp sluts, Florida women are just built different. 🐍💪
A debate is an interview for voters. A company isn’t going to hire someone they haven’t interviewed. I’m not voting for someone that hasn’t or won’t debate. Both involve dialogue & questioning. You can see if a person has strong communication skills, quick thinking abilities, & have prepared their case to present to voters. Those are qualities needed for governance. If a person refuses to debate, there’s a reason & usually it’s not good.
The chairman of the party should not be insulting the intelligence of Republican voters. A debate was promised and these ridiculous criteria are being used to renege on that promise and to engineer a preferred outcome.
Why not just take 90 minutes, find a tv partner, and let the candidates mix it up?
The only reason why you wouldn’t is if the party hierarchy is serving outside interests instead of the best interests of the voters.
@RikIronjaw What a coincidence. My mom actually beat me into submission with one of these things.
It was also because of this exact toy that I included “no noisy push poppers” on party invitations for the first few years.
The Sad Reality We Face
Democrats and Republicans — the Big Red Team and Big Blue Team — are tearing this country apart, and we’re handing them the tools to do it.
Every time we settle for weak candidates, every time we let politicians off the hook without real accountability, things get worse. We’ve reached the point where both sides spend their days calling the other evil, fascist, communist, or traitorous. That rhetoric isn’t harmless. It’s fueling real violence. People are getting hurt — sometimes killed — while leaders on both sides do nothing to heal the wound. In fact, they keep ripping it wider for clicks, votes, and power.
The hypocrisy is exhausting. Democrats love pointing out how old and unfit Trump is, yet many were ready to ride with Joe Biden again even though his prime ended decades ago. Republicans aren’t any better. They’ve turned into a cheering section for another ancient fossil who can say or do almost anything without a whisper of pushback. When Robert Mueller passed away and Trump sneered “good,” the silence from his party was deafening. What kind of person celebrates a death like that?
Enough.
It’s time to stop treating politics like a Hell in a Cell cage match where only one side can survive. We’re Americans first — not eternal enemies. The bombastic, rage-bait rhetoric has to end. Real dialogue has to replace it.
Our differences aren’t insurmountable. If we demand better from our leaders and from ourselves, if we reconnect as neighbors instead of opponents, we can still fix this. But the window is closing. This train has been barreling in the wrong direction for years.
What are you going to do about it?
As an outsider looking in, I like what the platform that @JayCollinsFL is running on and really don’t understand the vitriol being spewed against him unless it’s from the groyper Fishback group but that loser isn’t going anywhere.
I don’t mind Paul Renner either but the vitriol spewed against Lt. Governor Collins is really sad to see.
Also, if Governor DeSantis “doesn’t like” Jay then why did he appoint him to be the Lieutenant Governor? Just a whole lot of unnecessary personal attacks on Jay that really have nothing to do with the policies he’s proposing.
If the point of being against Jay is that his poll numbers are low, then how come that doesn’t apply to Renner whose numbers are just as low if not lower than Jay’s?
At the end of the day, I just want Florida to continue on the trajectory of being a beacon of liberty and freedom just like it is under Governor DeSantis and not have it be reversed by Byron Donalds who is awful!
If that person ends up being Jay Collins or Paul Renner then so be it but I really don’t understand and can’t get behind the utter vitriol I’ve seen sent towards Jay Collins and his wife Layla and over what exactly? Serving his country?
I get trying to win a primary but using bottom of the barrel, down and deep in the mud tactics to attack Jay reminds me all too much of the awful and baseless attacks that Trump levied against DeSantis.
Many of y’all have descended into being the very definition of the online MAGA crowd that y’all claim to despise with the attacks I’ve seen on Jay Collins.
I’m not here to sell any of y’all Floridians on Collins as this is not my fight but I’m just saying that a lot of y’all need to take a look in the mirror.
Do better, be better 🤷🏻♂️
I've introduced HR 8470, the Surveillance Accountability Act, with @RepBoebert.
It requires a probable cause warrant before the federal government can search your private data — even if that data is held by a third party.
Warrantless searches are unconstitutional.
At this point, I am not sure that I care whether Trump is impeached again.
We've been through this shit for a decade. At some point, Republicans must move on from the Trump/MAGA multipolar worldview that is destroying our reputation internationally, as well as our economy.
Boomer here. I bought my first house after ten years of saving like crazy. And the interest was 14.5%.
I don’t know where kids got the idea that they were due a house and new car at college graduation, but that’s NOT how it ever was.
