Just had a authentic deliberation session in SS class. It was encouraging to see our teacher care about our thoughts on his content and quizzes. Having students voices heard is one of the biggest democratic practices in the classroom that a teacher can practice #NTsschat

In Choice Words by P. Johnston Ch 4 we focus on teaching students about agency. While this novel focuses on writing it can be applied to SS. Students need to see the relationship between their actions and changes that occur in their environment due to their action #NTsschat
