@Mr_KnockinBooks@cbrennansports Did you miss the part where there were ten players below Paige and above CC? You are making a comparison that’s beyond moot
@RGIII@OuttaPocketRG3 Occurred to me that horrible comments by black people that I read were responses to horrible comments further down by white people. And those were in response to… and so forth. The vicious cycle of social media lets all of us feel righteous being the worst versions of ourselves
@RmendoGrafix@Betwitbizzy Yeah, 💯. I guess you can argue that the face of the league is the person who most encapsulates the league for its core fan base. But if you consider “face” to be a description of marketing and publicity, the answer is obvious. And I think that’s what face clearly refers to.
@authorityhop@dwgdontcare@etanthomas36 If you celebrated Jackie Robinson, Arthur Ashe, Barack Obama, or Mattel releasing the first Black Barbie in 1980, you can’t get mad at 12 yr old white girls seeing a successful WNBA player who looks like them. Representation inspires people. This isn’t difficult.
@Weak3n What literally everyone is missing here is this company is financially treading water. They have to sell skins or they lose ALL the jobs they provide, not just the hypothetical artists they don’t even have the resources to hire.
@JonahDispatch@Sudsiii@DavidAFrench I mean, nuclear fallout is quite literally radioactive dust and debris in the atmosphere. I’m fairly confident that’s not what he was talking about. But it is a thing.
@fantasypoints@xwanyex Maybe we just revert to Plato’s Republic and hope for the best. Take away a little suffrage and it’s an equality issue. Take away enough and maybe no one will take it personally. Lol
@stingray74@RepMikeQuigley@elonmusk I’m relieved you are being ironic. Can be tough to tell when nearly every opinion, however ludicrous, is held by someone.
@TRichardson1245@Inbowned I agree with this generally, but not in the absolute. Videos drive what many people play and videos jump from one thing to another to keep it fresh and get clicks. If lower lobbies stop using an already strong item because content creators have moved on, a buff would be a mistake
@ericaf455@LASIKdotcom Looks like the ball bounces back at her feet. She blocks instead of letting it squib by. Seems she’s actually trying to collect it to keep the game moving. Then she chases it down. An athlete’s energy in a game is finite. Many players would let it go by to save their energy.
@JLo I’m happy for any fan base that ends a championship drought. Just as happy for the Knicks as I would be for the Browns or was for the Red Sox. But unite the world? Can someone please address this main character syndrome? To most, they are just another team in just another city.
@harmaceutics You can not strictly meet the academic definition of eugenics and still draw on the philosophical underpinnings of eugenics. This is like saying torch wielding protestors in Charlottesville weren’t member of the KKK in the strict sense of the word. I mean, good for them?
@Jayme_Speaking I believe selectively killing an unborn special needs child is wrong. I’ve given my life to one. Today I read everywhere that if you believe what I believe, I don’t actually care or get to have an opinion because I’m a man, or even possibly “conservative” Thanks for your response
@N3131twlb @z_00pIz We intentionally didn’t test our children for down syndrome in the womb. Other than trying to guilt an autism parent, what have you done today that’s useful?
