Fairview High School seniors Maddie Eckert and Molly Koczur aren’t leaders on the track and field team because of their ability to run the fastest or jump the longest.
Over the past four years, these two seniors have been looked to as leaders because of their dedication, support, positivity, and commitment to compassion in everything they do. That mindset has helped propel the girls track team to new heights.
“For me, it’s just an instinct when it comes to celebrating others and being there for them,” Eckert explained. “I just want what’s best for them.”
