I will be majoring in maths soon. In my final year I’m required to pick one specialization which will carry over to my graduate studies. They are: probability and statistics, numerical analysis, mathematical analysis, mathematical structures. Which one would you recommend for a quant researcher/trader role?

Many thanks!
Thank you very much for your answer.
Specialization on mathematical structures focuses on the relationships between objects. It's heavy on algebra, logic, geometry and combinatorics. There are courses like category theory, representation theory, etc.
Haha! My professor on measure theory unfortunately wasn’t very enthusiastic but I’m having an introductory course in probability right now and it’s a much more lively world.
Numerical analysis is currently my favourite. I had an intro course last semester and I really liked it.
Out of curiosity is mathematical analysis considered too pure for the role?
@quantymacro I usually fight for the best React jobs on the market but I guess it wouldn’t hurt to learn something non-competitive like hft. Interested!
@Pluto_0x gm Pluto. What kind of size is required to get mid 6 figs from airdrops? Are we talking about perp dexes? If I had 500$ is it possible to get 5-6 figs in your opinion or is it straight up impossible?
