Walked into a Bronze Cyber course at @9FsquadronATC last night. Cadets studied and gave very compelling arguments in the form of a debate for and against end to end encryption - fantastic to hear the cadets incorporate real world benefits and problems in their arguments!
A fantastic @LondonAirCadets Training week for me... Instructing cadets on the L98A2 over Mon & Tues - enabling them to attend upcoming range days, and a successful Bronze Radio course delivered this weekend! Time to focus on completing my BTEC L3 in Education and Training π
Bit more flying for Day 2 of the GVC Drone Licence training. Getting more hands on experience with the drone controls before tomorrow's test - fingers crossed we all pass so we can provide support to our regions with RPAS training/coaching to cadets in the future!
Start of Sector 2's Bronze Cyber Course - Session 1 and already an engaged cohort! Shame I cannot stay for the full course... work straight after for me π enjoy the course and looking forward to issuing out the certificates tonight!
Last weekend was a first for the LW Dep Fieldcraft Officer and team - successfully pulling off a Blanks & Pyro Ex for the Bronze Fieldcraft syllabus! Great to support the weekend as the team's designated driver/logistics NCO! Looking forward to many more πͺ

Need to start posting again - what way to restart by announcing we have another Bronze Cyber "train the trainer" in the Wing π by completing a L5 Cyber Security course, Sgt Bimbato (1147 Sqn) qualifies and volunteers to train the next generation of instructors! Thank you π
Blue Radio assessments last night with @344fulhamatc - short recap before 8 cadets underwent their Basic Radio Comms practicals and pleased to say there were smiling faces after being told they all passed! π Signing off 3 assessors for the sqn with support from our Wg Radio Off
Busy parade night... undergoing some Blue Leadership assessments with our MTA kits and learning to code with Microbits in a "treasure hunt" style activity! Cadets were tasked to build a receiver, find the missing Microbits, and decode a hidden message π‘
