This small corn plant is already at V5. It is less than 16 inches tall. I am concerned that a lot of people could end up spraying herbicides at the wrong stages this year. Double check leaves and collars. Don’t just use height.
On Farm Research scouting yesterday got the season off to a great start!
Seed firmer trial showed some very interesting results in greatly reducing late emerging plants!
So much to learn in your fields right as they emerge. Worth braving the wind and cold.... many of the observations will be hidden in 7-10 when the corn and soybeans are bigger with the heat coming..
Custom harvest crews are traveling the country and still hiring. No experience needed, just bring your hustle and sense of adventure.
