If you would like to know more about our Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner (EWP) Parent-Led Interventions, please make an appointment with Mrs Georgiades (Family Support Worker) who will be happy to explain further, discuss your worries and make a referral if appropriate.
We are very fortunate to have the Mental Health in Schools Team (MHST) working with us at Woodside. They ‘offer support through a number of ways including a confidential and non-judgemental space for young people to explore difficulties, 1:1 sessions and workshops for parents'
Festive Jumper Day - tomorrow!
Children are to wear their school uniform with their Festive jumper.
Pre-loved jumpers for anyone who needs one for their child for tomorrow are available in the Community Room today from 3.15-3.30pm.
We are very excited to be part of the Hi Five Project and to welcome Callum from Palace for Life who is currently mentoring some of our Year 5 & 6 children.
Thank you to Liz and Laura from GRoW for another inspiring and empowering session with some of our parents last week, supporting them in their journey back in to work. Lots of laughter and an opportunity to meet with other parents/carers to share experiences.
We were very fortunate to have Liz and Laura from GROW join us on Thursday to talk about how they can support parents in gaining the necessary skills to get into work.
They will be joining us again next week, Thursday 14th November 2024 at 9am in the Community Room. Come along!
