FST!Female StoryTellers was founded in 2012 as a way for women to share their stories and their voices and a platform for women of Tucson to express themselves.
I meannnnn would you rather be watching a debate that likely won't sway your voting decision, OR would you like to watch an entertaining live show of badass women telling stories and support your local community? The choice is easy ๐
We published the Stained anthology because maybe, just maybe, sharing stories of leaking through in the TA's office, in the outfield, on the jungle-gym, at the Punk show will maybe, just maybe, make more of us more understanding & empathetic. Maybe, just maybe, even change policy
Btw, we're the only show where you'll hear:
โช๏ธ a woman being pro-choice BECAUSE she chose to have her baby
โช๏ธ a mom who regrets having children and is sharing that without shame
โช๏ธ a daughter having unprotected lemon-almond eye contact w/ a 6'6 guy on a plane
looking at the replies and QTs on this has me shaking. I knew women arenโt taken seriously. I knew the medical field disregards womenโs pain over and over and over again. I knew we were suffering and dying over it.
but my God.
I repeat.
Oh. My. God.
