🧬 If you’re at #NotchMeetingXIII, don’t miss Poster #36 by our talented PhD student @FTuretti from the @JanMasekLab
He’s presenting “CK1α-Dependent Phosphorylation of NOTCH1 Is Required for Transcriptional Activity of N1ICD.”
Come by, say hi, and chat Notch signaling! 🔬✨
Just published in our NOTCH signaling community!
Contrary to expectations, the study by Timothy Vanderleest and the team found pericytes don't reduce connections when Notch3 signaling is disrupted—they form deeper "peg-and-socket" junctions instead!
Genetic disorder #ALGS affects newborns' livers. @JanMasekLab and colleagues uncovered how immature #hepatocytes & #Tregs contribute to pericellular #fibrosis in ALGS.

Happy to share that our article "Cell type and regulatory analysis in amphioxus illuminates evolutionary origin of the vertebrate head" has just been published in Nature Communications https://t.co/5vd9SJig7O
We show #neuralcrest-like and prechordal plate-like cells in amphioxus!
🧵1/8 Excited to share our latest research published in EMBO Molecular Medicine! We explored the specific, pericellular fibrosis in Alagille syndrome (ALGS). #Fibrosis#ALGS#LiverDisease#EMBO

Big thanks to all the organizers of #Wnt2024 conference in Heidelberg for an incredible event! We had a great time @JanMasekLab!! Thanks to our collaborator @Jakub_Harnos's group for the joint effort
I was delighted to have the opportunity to present our project @JanMasekLab at the prestigious #GRC Notch Conference. I’m honored to have received 2nd place for my poster. Big thanks to our collaborator @Jakub_Harnos and the organizers for this great opportunity!🥳
This Third Thumb is *so cool*. I am unbelievably jealous of the folks who got to try it out! That story and more of the best in @ScienceMagazine and science in this edition of #ScienceAdviser: https://t.co/hgCuW1rPJi

The DevCellBiol PhD event our students at @PrirodovedciCZ organized was a blast! Big thanks Misa Liegertova for a great talk on AI in research https://t.co/mGy5I9daXD and @imgprague for hosting the event! Congrats to best poster winners! @EHudacova@FTuretti and @irinaribeirobas
Fresh from the publishing oven, our new review on how Jagged1-Notch signaling mediates development, and JAGGED1-driven Alagille syndrome. Big thanks to @EmmaRAndersson, our editor @DavidSprinzak, and the reviewers for insightful comments! https://t.co/0zOKogCa7m

Beyond happy from succeeding in securing GACR funding for the Wnt x Notch crosstalk research project we devised with @Jakub_Harnos! Won't be there without our lab members @FTuretti and Hana Hajsmanova! Big thanks to the agency for supporting us!
"ColabDock: inverting AlphaFold structure prediction model for protein-protein docking with experimental restraints"
Use experimental restraints as losses & back-propagating to input sequences. Wonder how many sequence changes are introduced to fit data?

So the adventure begins. Huge thanks to @DavidSprinzak for the opportunity to experience Israeli science environment in his laboratory! Big thank you goes to all the members of my @JanMasekLab, and certainly to @cenaneuron for making this experience come true. I'm beyond excited!
Our 2nd exciting joint project with the power duo @chrmosimann & @aburger2009 is now at https://t.co/LmDakgtT8p
Last time @KozmikLab made transgenic #amphioxus for https://t.co/n9fqwZFOfW, this time we made a triple enhancer KO in mice. That’s what I call lab flexibility.
