@Nicocantor1 Don’t need to, more than enough hate exists for : Paredes, Otamendi, Enzo, Simeone and did I say Paredes. Let say one more Paredes. Otamendi also. Romero as well. Eli Martinez cannot help it he is crazy.
Messi getting special treatment. Most respect goes to Julian Alvarez.
@UTDKobi I don’t get it. England let him get on the ball with time over and over. That’s a mistake. Took off Gordon, the only player dribbling up the flank to burn time. Subbed of Rice for Burn who was not gonna pressure ball but defend crosses yet wasn’t there when L Martinez finished.
@NoodleHairCR7 So basically Spence should have stayed down and writhed in pain…. VAR is not being used consistently. And the same person who asked for foul (v Egypt) this time fouled.
@zeusman223@EverythingRebs Because that tackle is the international football equivalent of a horsecollar tackle. Severe injury odds are extremely high.
@talkSPORT Yes, let’s not normalize six studs above the ankle.
Sliding is intent. Jumping, being bumped and landing on someone’s foot is not.
It’s really easy.
And don’t start on about intent doesn’t matter. It absolutely does and only in some cases without intend should a red occur.
@TheAthleticFC No, lacked intent to injure. Why couldn’t it be reviewed and a yellow card.
FIFA needs to change rules about accidental severe injuries. Player should be red carded if the player injured has to leave the game due to the injury.
Watching their #4 return to play made me sick.
@FOXSports The game has changed. Straight red used to be boots up tackle raised above ball, or an elbow into a face.
Intent was required.
Now we watching players red carded for accidents.
Slippery slope…as it just encourages more acting…looking for a slow mo or still image by VAR.

@TheLaikYobaz He brought his history making questionable calls to the World Cup. Consistent for him. Unfortunate for both teams honestly. The game becomes more about him than it should.
