Today Civil Air Patrol bid farewell to Col Carolyn A. Guertin. A charter member of @vawgcap, she joined on 12/1/41 as Cadet no. 11 and served continuously for nearly 79 years! A beautiful online tribute was held tonight to celebrate a life well lived. You will be missed. RIP.

Another successful meeting today! After a quick safety briefing, we moved on to a "problem trail" #trivia game created by C/Capt T. Huynh, which was very well put together. Cadets #excelled at completing there tasks!

Afterward, we had two outstanding presentations from our cadets. C/Capt E. Sipe presented an SDA presentation, while C/TSgt M. Palicte presented a presentation on @medalofhonor recipient MG Henry W. Lawton.

7/20/20 - Our second in-person meeting in recent history went just as well as the first, if not better. With many of the cadets present, our main focus today was on @WreathsAcross. The season is fast approaching, and we can't wait to share what we have in store this year!

After the presentation from our Deputy Commander for Cadets, Capt. @TVining, a small group of our attending members disinfected and #sanitized the classroom that is provided to us.
