@narcissismaware I once made a short film that everyone else was impressed with, except my NM who told me, 'I thought it was a bit shit actually.' Her words were enough to make me destroy that film. Chasing a film career has been a true battle, but neither my NM nor NS can influence me anymore.

@comefindme01 A number of times in my life I have resigned myself to that idea which led a solitary existence. Later I would learn I had a social anxiety disorder.

When I learned this was when I started acting against my instincts, defying my anxieties, and things have gotten better.

@hatttiegladwell How about assuming everyone is watching you waiting for you to make a mistake so they can stand around laughing? It's an egocentric idea I know - what would make me so special that everyone would watch me? It makes no logical sense but the idea plagues regardless.

@BeachBabya10 Not personally but I'm a man. Apparently it's quite common for females to be attracted to how a man sounds. Men, on the other hand, are very visually oriented and are thus usually attracted to how a woman looks.

@TJPayne3333 This really wakes you up to the idea that you may be suffering from depression - when you can't finish that sentence. I guess this year I'm most thankful for moving away from toxic family members.
