@nickythegood At best he was mediocre at first, a position that you stated he played every game. He'd shown he was incapable of making routine throws. Most importantly HE LEFT. There was nothing for Stearns to do.
@Thechat101 Where was all this reasoning and analysis when it came to Melo being traded to the Knicks. Should have waited to hit free agency and it wouldn't have cost the Knicks a lot of their assets.
@SNY_Mets It's been 40 years since that # was relevant. He was a great contributor but ultimately when he had a chance to pick the Mets for his hof enshrinement he picked the expos. That tells you where his heart was.
