First 4 to 6 hours of the day should be devoted to the highest cognitive work you need to take care of.

Take care of lower cognitive stuff/stuff you can perform while tired later in the day.

Gym should ideally be in the middle of the day, or at the very end of the day. If your morning routine is your physical fitness, you’re basically wasting your highest cognitive hours.
