The vision of Greater Israel is looming large. One could assume that what happened to Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank was only the beginning of larger campaigns transforming the Middle East.
Why is Somaliland offering a foothold to Israel in the Horn? Its regime is so desperate for recognition that it grabs the hand of a genocidal regime?! Those who claim that they were massacred under the previous Somali government (1969-1991), in the 1980s, should consider what Israel has done to Palestinians and what it is capable to do to anyone standing in its way.

Somali opposition leaders issuing statements from Kismayo and promising a so-called “parallel government” are not the solution to Somalia’s crisis, they are a continuation of the problem itself.

Recycling failed ideas, failed faces, and failed ambitions will never rescue a nation that has been held hostage by political vanity for decades.

At the same time, let the truth be said without fear: the current federal government has no solution either. An extension of its mandate will not bring stability; it will only pour fuel on an already raging fire.

Somalia is trapped between two dead ends an opposition without vision and a government without legitimacy.

Meanwhile, the international community is exhausted. Somalia’s political elite has worn out its credibility, its goodwill, and its excuses.

The African Union Support and Stabilisation Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM), backed by the UN Security Council, is scheduled to end on 31 December 2026 under Resolution 2809 (2025).

When that day arrives, the illusion of external rescue will collapse, and the country will stand alone, exposed, and unprepared.

The future, if we are honest, looks bleak and uncertain unless Somalis choose a radically different path. The only real solution lies with the people themselves, especially a new generation untainted by civil war politics, clan profiteering, and foreign dependency.

Somalia must rally behind a young, dynamic, visionary leadership drawn from its own people.

The 1961 constitution the only one ever approved by the Somali people must be restored.

The failed federal experiment must be abolished. The nation must be reunified, and the entire current political class must be shown the door.
