‘Israel’s far-right national security minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, says Israeli forces should “kill 30 or 40” people in Gaza every night and go beyond “those who pose a danger … at that particular moment”. ‘

The vision of Greater Israel is looming large. One could assume that what happened to Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank was only the beginning of larger campaigns transforming the Middle East.
Why is Somaliland offering a foothold to Israel in the Horn? Its regime is so desperate for recognition that it grabs the hand of a genocidal regime?! Those who claim that they were massacred under the previous Somali government (1969-1991), in the 1980s, should consider what Israel has done to Palestinians and what it is capable to do to anyone standing in its way.
Today, I am profoundly inspired by the remarkable progress that Las Anod has achieved since the historic moment we inaugurated it as one of the Federal Member States of our beloved Republic.
This progress is more than the story of a city, it is a testament to the resilience of our people, the strength of our unity, and the enduring promise of our nation. It stands as proof that when Somalis choose solidarity over division, hope over fear, and nationhood over narrow interests, there is no challenge beyond our capacity to overcome.
I pay tribute to the unwavering patriotism of the people of the North East State of Somalia. With dignity and resolve, they have rejected division, resisted all attempts to undermine our sovereignty, and stood firmly in defence of Somalia's territorial integrity. Their commitment is not only a service to their region but a service to our entire nation.
The Federal Government remains steadfast in its responsibility. Every government institution will continue to deliver essential services, strengthen governance, and invest in the economic and political prosperity of Las Anod and its people. Our duty is clear: to ensure that every Somali citizen enjoys the peace, opportunity, and security that they deserve.
I also extend my sincere gratitude to Somalia's development partners and our friends across the international community for their continued support. Your partnership has been invaluable in advancing Somalia's journey towards stability, prosperity, and lasting peace, and your support for Las Anod will help shape a stronger future for generations to come.
Together, united in purpose and confident in our destiny, we will continue to build a sovereign, peaceful, and prosperous Somalia for all.
@FaisalAliWarabe Asking for suggestion of name change that you are looking for has been made already, and I will list it up for you, they have been in Oromo, Arab, Irir Samale and also the worst one you have been into Israel and Good luck having the name changes
BREAKING 🅱️: Major shift just dropped.
The U.S. government says foreign aid will now go straight to national governments, not routed through NGOs anymore.
The logic is blunt: if the goal is to help a country, fund the country — not middlemen turning aid into their next business model.
Do you support this?
YES or NO?
Love him or hate him, President Hassan is the most popular politician in Somalia today.
He landed in Laascaanood after 42 years, reunited the nation, tore up the UAE deals, and restored Somali dignity.
Only recognition of Adal State remains. After that? Five years unopposed.
The man of the moment. The man of unity 🇸🇴🔥
#BREAKING: “The United Arab Emirates has not treated us as a responsible state. We have asked them to stop the divisive approach they have taken toward us, and that is why we annulled all agreements with the #UAE,” Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud said.
@AbdiwahabSheik7 SNM don’t care anything if they eat chat like green grass they lost everything about religion.Sayid Mohamed told us 125 years ago, but they will lose because they follow wrong road.
Somali opposition leaders issuing statements from Kismayo and promising a so-called “parallel government” are not the solution to Somalia’s crisis, they are a continuation of the problem itself.
Recycling failed ideas, failed faces, and failed ambitions will never rescue a nation that has been held hostage by political vanity for decades.
At the same time, let the truth be said without fear: the current federal government has no solution either. An extension of its mandate will not bring stability; it will only pour fuel on an already raging fire.
Somalia is trapped between two dead ends an opposition without vision and a government without legitimacy.
Meanwhile, the international community is exhausted. Somalia’s political elite has worn out its credibility, its goodwill, and its excuses.
The African Union Support and Stabilisation Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM), backed by the UN Security Council, is scheduled to end on 31 December 2026 under Resolution 2809 (2025).
When that day arrives, the illusion of external rescue will collapse, and the country will stand alone, exposed, and unprepared.
The future, if we are honest, looks bleak and uncertain unless Somalis choose a radically different path. The only real solution lies with the people themselves, especially a new generation untainted by civil war politics, clan profiteering, and foreign dependency.
Somalia must rally behind a young, dynamic, visionary leadership drawn from its own people.
The 1961 constitution the only one ever approved by the Somali people must be restored.
The failed federal experiment must be abolished. The nation must be reunified, and the entire current political class must be shown the door.
This is a final warning, not a slogan. Either Somalia reinvents itself now, or it risks becoming nothing more than a footnote in history’s dustbin. Save this tweet not for likes, but for memory.
@AbdiwahabSheik7 Ethiopia and its spoiler leader realised that there is no way to get sea access except trade access and if it try to military action, it will be destroyed.
If Ethiopia seeks sea access for commercial purposes, no Red Sea nation would deny it.
Assab and Massawa are free ports for the region, as affirmed by one of Africa’s true Pan-African leaders, H.E. Isaias Afwerki.
Djibouti, Berbera, Mogadishu, Lamu, and Mombasa all welcome peaceful trade access for Ethiopia.
But Ethiopia’s ambition to establish a naval base and control the Red Sea from “river to sea” is unacceptable to all coastal nations, Egypt, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Eritrea, Yemen, Djibouti, and Somalia.
If Ethiopia attempts this by force, I can grantee you, you will witness the biggest alliance against Ethiopia in the modern history of the Horn of Africa region.
Save this tweet for history.
I’m afraid history will not be kind to President Saciid Dani, the president of Puntland state of Somalia.
according to intelligence reports, media, research institutions, he is the first leader in the modern history of Somalia who allowed hostile nation to install Radar in Somali soil to monitor a friendly state of Yemen.
According to the intelligence reports, Media and research institutions he is the first Somali leader in the modern history of Somalia who gave UAE Bosaaso civilian airport for its military campaign of terror, destabilization and military support to RSF in Sudan & other terror groups in the Africa’s Sahel region.
President Saciid Deni has handed the UAE a blank cheque to replay the Yemen script here, targeting elders, religious leaders, scholars, thinkers, and activists who won’t bend to Abu Dhabi’s agenda. If this continues, Puntland’s brightest will end up refugees in Nairobi and beyond. You are not immune. My beloved people of Puntland, wake up before it’s too late.
Somalia needs liberation from these spoilers. If @HassanSMohamud@AhmedMoFiqi he will lose I advise to president to stop the with them,it is nonsense talk.
@Ramadan70530344 These are no places of leadership in Somalia, they have get off the road otherwise, @HassanSMohamud they will meet the consequences. The only thing they want is to stop the development of Somali government to satisfy their foreign agenda.
@HarunMaruf@HassanSMohamud Somali president doesn’t need to listen failed guys who don’t want the country to be stable and fair election, the only thing they want is to work foreign agenda and Somali people understand that shits
@Abdirahman38562@HassanSMohamud What SL you talking about shame on you that is a terrorist, you talking about peace and democracy and hiding genocide thousands of people in Laascaanood.
