What Is Fentanyl and Why Is It Dangerous?

Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that is 50-100 times more potent than morphine. It is medically used to treat severe pain, especially after surgery or in cancer patients, but it is also a major cause of overdose deaths due to its illegal production and abuse.

The only prevention is not using fentanyl and when around people using it you need to be careful not to inhale it.
