@oppo I am not waiting 3–4 months for a premium phone which costs 1699€. Your competitors are way faster and have transparent support and communication.
@oppo@oppo , fix your global pre-orders and delivery schedule before making any new advertisements. This is the worst global launch I've seen so far for a smartphone. I've been waiting a month and still have no delivery date, and got this instead as email advertising...
@PeterFuchsVivio@techdroider If you want to save some money, there are a couple of coupons available to get the phone for 1,500, or I have seen some stores selling the CN version, which is way cheaper, around 1,300.
@PeterFuchsVivio@techdroider I mean of course the Samsung will be cheaper and probably more accessible as Oppo currently and probably a better deal from the price. But we should not forget that the S26U already over a month on the market is and Oppo just recently returns to global market under bad condition
@techdroider subjectively Oppo, better design, more improvement on the hardware, more excitement for me. Objectively Samsung, its currently the better deal from the price perspective.
@PeterFuchsVivio@techdroider And it's hard to compare Samsungs current price with a pre launched phone. Specially because we know that their phones are getting cheaper rly quick.
@ISAQUES81 I often read now that Vivo, Xiaomi, and Samsung already had some patches for the camera, and Oppo has still not officially launched, just as preorders, so it has no update and is still in beta or not ? I guess they will patches it with a day one patches after release.
@maciej_murawski I was kind of disappointed too. I normally like his content, and he has great videos, but this one felt kind of lazy. He basically went fast through a checklist, and his main statement is that a camera will always be better than a phone camera and that it can never be improved.
@RoworthJack It depends what you're looking for, but in general the Oppo find X9 Pro is a really good choice and its more balanced as the find x9 Ultra. The Ultra has a smaller battery and is bigger and heavier but it has the better camera and its performance its slightly better.
@QucUyL297512@kaaaash____ S26U is decent and a nice allrounder, its just isn't for me. I need a huge battery duration and a good camera, AI slop is not important. Thats why I recommended Oppo in the first place, that was the actually the maim question here before we started a hole new conversation xD
@QucUyL297512@kaaaash____ I don't say they are flawless, dont take it wrong, but at the end of the day it depends what you expect from a phone. The S26U disappointed me for example, the display is a downgrade, no improvements for the camera or battery life. I dislike the camera design too its not stable
@QucUyL297512@kaaaash____ (2/2)Samsung for example has the same design since 4 years, no battery capacity improvements, a boring camera setup even they had a great one with S23, a downgrade with the pen etc. Apple has up to day no AI features and a restricted system for android users an a bad charging etc
